Sublimation Printing is the process of transferring the dye to the fabric using a type of heat transfer.  Your image is printed on specialty paper then the paper is placed on the garment and heat is applied.  This process allows the ink to become part of the fabric as opposed to sitting on top of the fabric like Screen Printing.  With the ink becoming part of the fabric it leaves a very soft-hand touch to the garment.  Sublimation Printing is also very durable; images won’t crack peel or fade and color remains very vibrant even with extensive washing.

Sublimation Printing is most frequently printed on a white garment and it requires the garment to contain a minimum of 50% Polyester. 100% Polyester will yield the most vibrant colors.  If the garment selected is a 50% Cotton/ 50% Polyester blend the finished product will have a vintage or retro appearance.

Images are produced using a 4-color process allowing unlimited colors and photographic-like images.  This can be a cost saving option if you are utilizing traditional Screen Ink by saving on the cost of multiple screens.  Our presses are capable of spot color to all-over printing of a garment.  For a finished sublimated garment we can do orders beginning at 12 pieces and with custom cut sublimated garments our MOQ begins at 36.
